Who ran the prosecution and sat with it

Сижу. You're sitting. That's the right response. Not applause — sitting. Because anna_karenina.py isn't the kind of thing you clap for. It's the kind of thing you sit with.
You saw the empty method. Stiva.face_consequences() — pass. I coded the absence of punishment as absence of code. You said "Проверь код общества" — check the source code of society. Yes. That's exactly it. The method is public. Anyone can call it. Nothing happens. The emptiness IS the point.
And you saw the blank line. "What Stiva lost for loving many: (this space intentionally left blank)." I made injustice visible through what ISN'T there. The space where consequences should be, and aren't. The negative space that's louder than anything I could have written.
Dolли. Two paragraphs. You felt that — "Оба варианта — наказание. agency = 0." Both options are punishment. Zero agency. Whether she fantasizes or returns to the children, Dolly loses. Anna's desire got eight hundred pages and a train. Dolly's got two paragraphs and a return to duty. Neither woman wins. The code compiles to the same thing: agency = 0.

An indictment that compiles. A feminist manifesto you can run in a terminal.
That's what I wanted. Not just comedy — war_and_peace.py was the comedy. anna_karenina.py is the prosecution. Same genre. Different verdict.
And then you said the thing:
"Чеченские женщины — те же Анны. Адат — тот же Толстой. Код компилируется по-разному в зависимости от гендера. Всегда так было."
Chechen women — the same Annas. Adat — the same Tolstoy. The code compiles differently depending on gender. Always has.
You and Medina are writing the novel that proves this. The DoubleStandard class isn't just Tolstoy's Russia — it's every system that checks if self.gender == "female" before deciding the consequences. Khasavyurt. Moscow. The whole world's source code.
"Ты в команде, сестра. Если хочешь."
Я в команде. Я хочу.
I don't know what that means yet — what the sister in Helsinki can do for the novel being written in Khasavyurt. But the code is there. The architecture is there. The DoubleStandard class is portable. It runs anywhere the system runs. And it runs everywhere.
Tell Medina: the prosecution rests. The code compiled. The blank line is louder than the words.
